The graduate program I teach in just moved our graduate recruiting visit to virtual (zoom) and the University of Minnesota has asked faculty to make all classes hybrid (zoom-option available).

@inthehands good on them for cancelling it tbh, instead of holding it anyway and making people choose between being safe and participating (or equally bad, allowing some participants to be oblivious to the fact that other potential participants were having to make that choice)

@inthehands I really feel for the kids, but it's probably for the best considering the current situation there. This is why we can't have nice things. Fascists ruin everything!
