But I live, in another country to the one I was born and grew up in; in a very rural, low pop. area, and my real name is distinctly foreign, thus easily traceable. I used the name first on Twitter in 2009 (to protect my family) because I'd read how discourse there could be brutal, and I've grown to like it.

I'm not saying that to condone it but in my point of view, racism comes from humans and as long as humans exists, there will always be an us versus them mentality. And that's what racism is, whatever forms it takes whether it's violence, discrimination or other, as long as that exist, so will racism. And I say this as a victim of it.
