I strongly reject this dichotomy. As far as I am concerned, the leaders of both are horrible people who do not actually care about the people whom they claim are their constituents.

People like to reduce complex situations into simple narratives of "Good vs. Evil". Everything "one's own side" does is righteous, everything "the other side" does is villainous and must be stopped at all cost.
