Yeah, if this cold persists, I'll stick to working from home for next week.
Which is fortunately an option for my place of work, although we aren't supposed to do it all the time without a special dispensation. But a cold is certainly a sufficient reason to stay home.

First, yeah, it's not just SARS-CoV-2 you ought to avoid spreading; second, even if it were, two words: false negatives. -
