A PSA: When people from Canada, Europe, or anywhere else say:

    "The #USA is our enemy!"

then they are referring to the relentless hostility of the current US government. We _know_ that plenty of US citizens did not vote for any of this and are against the current government, and some are actively fighting against them.

But plenty of US citizens _did_ vote for #Trump, and support him. And that means that we, in the rest of the world, cannot assume that individual US citizens are trustworthy until they can show that they have done the work.

I mean, take me - I am a German! My country started two World Wars and the Holocaust! When confronted by people from the nations Germany has attacked, or ethnic groups which Germany has tried to exterminate, and they say:

    "I do not trust Germans!"

then this is _entirely_ reasonable, and it is _not_ my job to personalize this and demand that they trust me! Instead, it is my job to work hard to make myself trustworthy, and to turn my country into a better place that can be trusted by more people.
