    A President being able to ‘pardon’ people is just absurd.

    What’s the point of a justice system if a clown with a crown can make it undone

    Oh while I’m at it.. Shall we get rid of the ‘alone rules’ like kings, presidents, dictators etc? Look at history.. clearly it does not work

      @stux problem is "does not work" is a matter of perspective, works too well for those in power 😕

        Oh yes there are reasons whatever but I personally don’t but it anymore

        One bad apple is still a bad apple

        And in this case the #Trump apple is rotten to the core

            @stux the US presidency has been accumulating power since the 1970s, relative to the other branches of government. Now that the "president" has the supreme court and congress both utterly subservient to him, he is in fact a king in all but name. But parliamentary systems are not necc. better, look at Hungary - all you need is to get a dictator backed by a compliant legislature in power, once, and democracy fails.
