1/ I do not have any further #map -themed folk tales to share for this #MythologyMonday , but I do want to share the interactive map for German folk tales I am working on at the moment.

1/ I do not have any further #map -themed folk tales to share for this #MythologyMonday , but I do want to share the interactive map for German folk tales I am working on at the moment. It can be found on my new #MediaWiki installation, and uses the combined power of #SemanticMediaWiki , #OpenStreetMap , and #Leaflet to dynamically generate maps with the accurate location of the German folk tales I have translated. Please take a look!

https://wiki.sunkencastles.com/wiki/Main_Page2/ I am fairly satisfied with how it looks now, but if you have any suggestions for improvement please share them! It will be easier to make major changes now, with 101 tales on the wiki, rather when I have added all 753 to it (or however many there are when I have finished this thing).
Also, if you have any experience with #MediaWiki optimization, if you have any suggestions on how to avoid "Error 503 Backend Fetch Failed" errors, please share them...

3/ ...since those happen rather frequently, especially when multiple people are trying to access it at once (if it happens to you, just wait a few minutes and try again).
Eventually, this will replace my current German Folklore Map, which is based on #GoogleMaps . For the time being, the latter is more comprehensive, but I do not plan to update it further.

The German Folklore Map showcases the locations of the various legends I have translated, as well as links to both my translations and the original German source material.

Strange. Did you get a 503 error, or actual code?
If it is a 503 error, try again in a few minutes. If you get code, I'd be interested in a screenshot for debugging purposes.
