OUCH! "It’s one of those rare, unicorn films that doesn’t have a single redeeming quality. I’m not even sure it qualifies as a documentary, exactly, so much as an elaborate piece of designer taxidermy, horribly overpriced and ice-cold to the touch"

@UweHalfHand @503bartley @cstross Congratulations, it's #1 now. For both "Melania" and "Melania Trump". We did it!

@UweHalfHand @503bartley @cstross It's still #1 for "Melania", but it seems to have fallen back to #3 for "Melania Trump"

@cstross The comparison to Zone of Interest is very clever. The banality of everyday life while the horror is right there.

Ok, Monsterdon fans, are you willing to allow a spyware visible search on Amazon for a novel titled *’Melania: Devourer of Men’* in the interest of the greater good?

It’s currently selling for $6.53 on Amazon.ca if you really want a paperback copy but the ebook download is free.

Reddit has proposed an effort to get this trending.

@cstross You can't make a movie about a person that has nothing to say.

I did my part and downloaded the free ebook copy!

Melania, Devourer of Men is my next read.

Now to go see what more than 1K reviewers have to say before I add my input.

@cstross @_L1vY_ It seems that #Melania rivals the Kirk Cameron Christmas movie as one of the worst ever made. I have to think it will rack up at least a few points on Rotten Tomatoes as I think there have got to be some #MAGA movie reviewers out there.

@cstross It's like when you go to see a MAJOR MOTION PICTURE in an IMAX theatre, and the previews are all rattles, swooshes, and wooshes before the movie begins, with dark, soulless visuals and muffled, indecipherable vocals that leave you craving subtitles like a villain in a particularly bad Batman movie... but it's just your First Lady.

@KraftTea I have never seen a motion picture in an IMAX cinema. In fact, I haven't been to a cinema in going on 20 years.
