    It just hit me:

    I might be one of the most qualified people on the planet when it comes to Linux gaming.

    I’ve been gaming on Linux consistently since the release of the original Steam Deck, across a wide range of hardware—both high-end and low-end—using both Nvidia and AMD systems.

    I also own nearly 9,000 games across multiple storefronts, both digital and physical, including titles that have since been de-listed or become abandonware.

      @atomicpoet "I also own nearly 9,000 games-"

      Okay, but how many have you played to completion, and how many of those are from sales where you bought them cheaply and then didn't play them?

      (Speaking as someone who knows friends who have plenty of games they bought on Steam Sales and then didn't play them.)

        @AT1ST As it happens, I’m doing a thing where I review every game I’ve ever played. You’ll have to wait till November 4th to see it start.

          @atomicpoet there are people who have been gaming on Linux for years before the Steam Deck and Proton were a thing.

            @Gartenammer Sure, so have I, and I’ve been using Slackware since 2004. Gaming on Linux used to suck.
