    An update on my COVID, and a fun exploration into why compressed air sprays are so freaking cold! The answer, of course, is SCIENCE.

      Please note that I am NOT looking for advice on any of my health issues. I've already had one person recommend homeopathy to me, and you can imagine how I felt about that.

      But in general β€”Β online and IRL β€” don't reply with advice to people who have not actively asked for it.

        @badastro

        I'm lucky to have not had a bad case. I hope you feel better soon.

        What's amusing(?) is that unbeknownst to me I basically didn't have a sense of smell until I had surgery in my early 30s. I thought smells were just that subtle. Post surgery my world opened up. The idea that you could eat things and actually determine ingredients was no longer fantasy. That made losing my sense of smell my second worst fear of Covid after dying, so when it comes back, enjoy the hell out of it 😁

          @badastro Good luck! it took nearly four months for my taste and smell to come back.
