Is he a bad teacher because so many people feel the need show up to office hours?
The crowd is mostly women. Are they only there because he's attractive?

Does it mean his class is very popular?@Artemis201 I think the implication of young women attempting to get private time with a handsome, single, professor (especially given the time period) is that they were angling for their MRS degree.
