No, the time of "being nice" is over

If they won't play by the rules they leave us no choice, I won't lower myself to their level but i will resist even harder

That party is more than a decade (since the 80's) in political power.

@Koetsie @stux Klopt ! And right you are and the near future isn't looking well in this case. VVD is Pure PVV Right now and hungry for stupid dumb fuckin' dutch voters. And don't forget the influence of social media in this case.

Tonight we had a birthday party, there where mostly older people and I am very happy to report that every one I heard about #Trump really hated his guts

And these are mostly more conservative people

@stux @WillyECoyote69 Daarom zit ik voornamelijk hier. Om een beetje sociaal contact the houden met vroegere bekenden van de site met een grote X, zit ik wel eens the lurken in de blauwe luchten.

En hoewel dat een verademing is vergeleken met de site, die grondig om zeep is geholpen door een megalomane miljardair, voel ik me meer thuis op mastodon.

Knusser, gezelliger. En als je eens een keer geen zin in alle sociale interactie hebt, kan dat ook.

@stux @WillyECoyote69 Dat is het grote probleem. De meeste sociale mediasites zijn in handen van Amerikaanse mafkezen, die naar eigen goeddunken hun platform beheren. Freedom of Speech? Ammehoela, zodra dat niet strookt met de eigen mores, is het over en uit wat betref the First Amendment.
