    Our city/town just celebrated its 700th birthday!

    This was this past year

    So yeah.. the US is barly peeking around the corner

      @stux I found records of the manor (for lack of a better word) next to where I live, from the 13th century. And that is normal.

          @stux I find old bricks at the ravine, brought by the occasional flash floods which still have finger marks on them, because they were hand made.

                @aurochs I was born in a place where these are very common, in Dutch they are called "hunebedden"

                  @stux Huh! and they probably had to bring those stones from very far away! I have seen similar structures in west Iberia. Here they are not so common (if any).
                  But I used to go to swim here:
