    There is at least 1 basic thing I miss in iOS forever now

    A quick toggle to turn location on and off

    I only ever use location service when needed and not on by default but it takes 3-4 actions to turn it on or off

    This was no issue with a jailbreak 10 years ago lol

    (edit: found image of how it use to look with jailbreak tweak)

    @stux out of curiosity, why turn it on and off? You can limit app access to your location so only the app you want to have use it can

        @stux indeed there is a setting to enable showing the arrow when system uses location but you can also disable all of those system location features if you wish

              @mvan231 In the past i just had a location switch where not the Quick Access thingy is with a jailbreak tweak

              Apple adapted all toggles except for location haha

                  @stux

                  I set it for apps that need it as that is their function to ‘ONLY when app is open’.

                  If a network really wanted to track you there are multiple ways to do so backside without a smartphones direct help. Simply keeping WiFi on all of the time creates tons of data mining.

                  Keeping it only ‘only when needed’ prevents more widespread exploitation.

                  I get UCE spam merely by walking inside a store.

                    @Chancerubbage It’s become better for sure indeed and if they really want to.. there are a ton of ways

                    But for example, when I leave home I do turn off WiFi both for security but also battery

                    Same with other settings where and when needed 😸👌🏻
