@EUCommission wrappers and fillings on packages; wrappers, bottles or boxes for items in supermarkets (bags too); disposable dishes, cups and cutlery that now are labeled as ๐Ÿ˜’ "reusable"; cups and straws for beverages of "fancy" coffee shop franchises or bubble tea; plastic sprayed "paper" tea bags...

@EUCommission specially in supermarkets plastics presence is INSANE, you can still find them everywhere: to wrap a dozen of eggs, a bunch of tomatoes or bananas, a package of pasta or cereals (although flour or sugar are packed in paper), a bonbon, a container for spices, a bottle of juice or water... All to make them look "cleaner" ๐Ÿค’

@EUCommission cigarette butts. Barely anyone knows they're plastic and not just paper. Not even talking about the poison hidden in them.

@EUCommission Cigarette butts are everywhere, and there's a shocking amount of ugly chewing gum blobs on city grounds too.

(Both are plastic, the cigarette filters as well as chewing gum. And they're both single-use as well.)

@EUCommission Plastic bottles full of urine, thrown by the side of the road by drivers whose contracts exploit them so much that they have no time to stop to use the toilet.

If we start by ending the power of the wealthy, so many other problems will begin to disappearโ€ฆ

@EUCommission the most common are Capri-Sonne (Capri-Sun in English) packages. I'm not sure if banning them would avoid the littering, though. They would replace it and then they litter with that replacement, I would guess. It would maybe help to have Pfand (deposit) on it.

Plastic in nature is terrible. It goes to organisms, including humans, and burden or bodies ๐Ÿ™

We are trying hard to develop therapies to reverse aging, but in the same time people are throwing away single use plastic ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

As Peter Diamandis says: don't die from something stupid!

                        Like plastic.
