Like, you could argue Arkveld doesn't have an actual gender, but that's definitely something that couldn't reproduce before -- and wasn't intended to -- that figured it out in defiance of whatever forces created it, so

Okay, so Gemma is Little Miss Forge from MH4U, and Fabius is the Ace Lancer from the same game.
Given that I play the same Hunter in every game, this has to be one helluva homecoming for her. She's made Captain, she's in charge of her own team now. Her support staff includes a kid she literally recruited out of their hometown. The Guildmaster is a close, personal friend. My Hunter's all grown up T_T

Also Inspiration! Does it affect other players or only you? Who knows! Stat buffs *don't show up on the Palico Stat screen*! At all! You use a Wide-Range Might Seed and the cat flashes red *and their attack doesn't change!* So now I gotta pester someone to help me test this!

Okay. New setup, running Inspiration even though it does NOT affect allies, even though it did in Rise >_>

Also dropped Flayer because the way it works is intensely stupid.
Creating wounds acts like status effects -- each attack has a CHANCE to add an amount of damage to a hidden buildup bar, which, when full, results in a status taking effect. Or, in this case, a wound being created. Flayer adds a strict percentage to this, somewhere between 10-30%. BUT, only before any sign of the wound is apparent -- which is only like halfway to actual WOUND CREATION! #MonsterHunter #MonsterHunterWilds #Gaming
