Incidentally, does anyone have a recommendation for a good gel pen?

Incidentally, does anyone have a recommendation for a good gel pen? I've been using Sakura Gelly Rolls but the pens have this annoying thing where the ink flow is *wildly* higher when the pens are full. Makes lettering hard with new pens

@CactuarJoe I use Gelly Rolls too and have the same problem!

@CactuarJoe it looks like you already got a rec, but I'm very fond of the Sharpie Gel Pens, depending on what color it is you need. They write nicely, dry quickly, and the ink is very bold on the page.
(granted, I was using 'em mostly for adding detail to watercolors after the fact, or for writing in a lab notebook, so not the same, but they're cheap and easy to find.)

@CactuarJoe you're welcome! was the lab notebook stuff in particular -- needed something that wouldn't smear and didn't react with the solvents I used.
not your use-case, but I can say that they don't bleed when exposed to acetone fumes? -

@CactuarJoe Would a fountain pen work? You can get ink in every color imaginable, and they flow wonderfully.
If not, Zebra makes a good gel pen that I like.

@wheeljack Hm. Maybe if I can find the right nib, yeah.
