I havent been a PC player all that long and I'm not really a mod guy, but that site's one of -- if not THE -- biggest sites for mod hosting. Like, that's a multi-decade long multi-terabyte archive. The idea of some enshittification factory getting their hands on that and then pulling a BBC Tapes on the site because they don't want to pay to host older mods is... Terrifying.
