If someone doesn’t like some form of media you like, that’s okay.

If someone doesn’t like some form of media you like, that’s okay. If someone likes something you don’t, who cares. Why are people getting bothered by such meaningless things?

@fujiwara@sakurajima.moe as others mention; many people take existence of different position as a criticism of their own, because they assume the same path, values, and context, so if you made a different choice, you must be saying they were “wrong”.
That said; I think it’s fine to talk about what you like and dislike and why, and if you do so in a public space, you should have some expectation of people entering into discourse, even to assert this own position especially if you try to make a point under a objective banner. I wish one side would remember the context of subjectivity and differing values, and I wish another side would remember that the audience of a public forum are active participants who are not obligated to silence or agreement.
