There's just immense joy in repairing something. It rejects waste and acknowledges your relationship with a physical item and your environment. -

Don’t put yourself down. You enjoy it, hurt no one, and quite frankly help everyone (the less waste part). Go for it!

@yon@sakurajima.moe I am just realistic :neofox_laugh_sweat: and it has nothing to do with style. Everything I fix is low visible. I do know someone who is skilled at it for when something important happens, I just don’t like to bother them for little stuff.
I was just patching a sock and a pillow case the other day and reflecting. There was a time when i would have thrown them away, but i am happier to fix them, even if they look a bit rough.
