    Does anyone find value in reviews online anymore? I honestly don’t. They don’t help me get any insight into if I would enjoy something. It’s just empty opinions that tries to be either super positive or super negative (and often makes absolutely bizarre statements).

      @yon@sakurajima.moe Like many things I read, they may not necessarily change my views, but they color the discussion that I have with myself. I also generally care for lay reviews far more than professional ones. There is something about becoming a 'game journalist' or a 'professional gamer' that makes one far more jaded than is useful for me.
