They either tell me I’m using a service too little and should cut it, or remind me I’m using it too much and should… cut it. There’s no win here for them. In a productivity obsessed culture, entertainment is a guilty pleasure, so no one wants to be told how many hours they spent rewatching One Piece.
As a general rule, you also don’t want to arbitrarily make the paying customer ask “Is this worth it to me?” Again, no wins. Either they keep paying you (zero gain), or they reconsider and cancel. Don’t ask questions you may not like the answer to.
