      @ielenia@ck.catwithaclari.net You probably know the answer, but simply: You don't. The best you do is hope they'll let you catch them on the fall.

      Life is unfair like that. You can't save everyone, and often times you can't even save the ones you're able, because of things like this. But you cannot force it on them, even if you know they're making a mistake. If you're not willing to let people make mistakes, you don't actually care about their freedom and choices (and thus, them).

      You just have to let go, remind them that you're around if they change their mind, and then watch the trainwreck.
