I went and saw House (1977) yesterday afternoon on 35mm.

It was a lot of fun. The movie is absolutely silly. It was really refreshing watching something though that actually played with the camera and audience again.

The film had a lot of artifacts and a persistent scratch. That and when the movie had to stop temporarily for a reel change made me think about the viewer's relationship with the film before digital made everything perfectly clean and continuous.
