There is something called the "Crunchyroll Store". I don't know what they sell, I assume anime. On Oct 22 they sent me an email titled "Oops! Thought you'd ghosted us!" and, starting at this point, started emailing me heavily, a couple times a week, leading up to Nov 19 since when they've been emailing me every day, sometimes multiple times a day, with spam.
On Dec 3, I unsubscribed. The daily emails continued coming. I filed a support request and was told unsubscribe can take "up to week"

I am still receiving the daily spam mail from "Crunchyroll Store". I am completely baffled by the idea of commercial email list that takes "up to a week" to unsubscribe from. Does the unsubscribe request get mailed through the postal system and then processed by hand?

@mcc@mastodon.social given what I know about CR’s technology: it’s not an impossibility.
I think my favorite moment was when they sold me a gift certificate that was already expired.
