Several key people were out this last week, and no contingency was in place. I just started handing out orders, running org, and inviting myself to leadership meetings, and everyone just … accepted it. Very little pushback.

I don’t suffer a lot from bystander effect (I worry about what that says about me sometimes), so it’s a bit wild to me just how much power you can have in a situation just by asserting you have it.
