        @sidereal@kolektiva.social I was raised in a conservative household. When I was younger It wasn't any particular tract, slogan, experience, or whatever that broke me from it. It was just a brutally honest question: "What am I doing, what do I believe, and do these things match up with themselves and each other?"

        So many times I have met the nicest, kindest, generous people who would give you the clothes off their backs ... who then turn around with the most dogshit, contradictory-to-afore conservative politics imaginable. They just somehow keep their political and personal beliefs on two different worlds and do not self-interrogate.
