So today is 3 years since I joined Mastodon. Really glad I did, so much nicer than Twitter. I have found a super community here.
To celebrate the occasion, I've made a small donation to @trumpet to help with the server costs.
Remember that Mastodon isn't funded by billionaires, and if you have a few pounds/euros/dollars/etc to spare, I'm sure your instance admin would also appreciate a donation. Details of how to donate should be in your instance's "About" page.

I never considered buying a blue tick on Twitter. I wouldn’t pay for any social media. But I have donated to my server costs. I appreciate the regular people who create this “platform” and moderate it. Sending some fiscal love back is a great yearly tradition to have.
