I wish I was good enough on my sax to play at a protest.

    I wish I was good enough on my sax to play at a protest. Something to aim for!

    I am saddened and angered that a clarinet player was pressed into the mud (with her partially disassembled instrument nearby - I hope the clarinet is okay!). Unless something happened that I don't know about, like she took an actual swing at someone with that clarinet, I find it hard to believe she deserved the treatment she got.

    I think she's so brave and I would like to do what she did. I'd like to play rousing (but not martial) songs to raise people's spirits and show just how ridiculous it is to use violence against these peaceful protests.

    I will keep practicing.

      @AngelaPreston It's not like you have to be ready to play a concert for people to appreciate your music, you know? You can just go have fun if you want. I think it would be poetic if more musicians respond to this latest indignity by flooding protests with music
