I think this article oversells the capability of "#AI" for the foreseeable future, like such articles are wont to do - if anything, they teach people to be satisfied with mediocrity. Which is dangerous enough in itself.
Modern day technology can provide amazing things. I mean, if you had told my younger mind that I would be able to download tens of thousands of digital scans of public domain works and read them on e-ink tablets, my mind would have been utterly blown.
But we need to be mindful of how to engage with technology and what it does. Just because certain technologies can fulfill certain of our wishes does not mean we should stop thinking about what we get out of this process.

Not "what shall we do with all this instant perfection that AI will provide".
