Coolest part of cassette collecting? Stumbling onto bands I completely missed.
Case in point: Pseudo Echo. Never heard a note from them. Quick search says they’re an Australian synth-pop outfit—but beyond that, I’m going in blind.
And honestly, that’s the thrill. A dollar at a thrift shop buys me the mystery. Pop it in, press play, and see what happens.

They did a great version of Funky Town, that I think is on that album. I have it as a vinyl single. Maybe we were a more open market than North Amerika in the 80s?

Oh yea! I see now that this album was released a year before Funky Town which was “only” a single. But my single had that photo on.
