Okay, character classes for the cast.

Sisko: I know Paladin would be kind of cliche, but look how many moral quandaries the show puts that man through. DS9 is trying to make him Fallen

Odo: ALSO a Paladin, but a different Oath. This goo is Lawful Neutral so hard it literally almost kills him multiple times.

Kira: Rogue who recently had to re-spec into Knight. She's having a hard time with it

Dax: Very old, very smart, genderfuckery? Oh that's a Wizard.

Bashir: ALSO a Wizard, but one shameful level of Sorceror nobody knows about yet.

O'Brien: One of those weird fantasy engineer classes, probably, but I kinda want to give him an NPC class for that Everyman quality.

@CactuarJoe Key question: does DS9 become an island outpost, or a floating fortress in the Astral Sea?

@jwisser Much as I love Spelljammer, I feel like that probably veers a little too close back to sci fi. Gotta be a fort.
