I’m experiencing the greatest tragedy of my life. My very very good boy, Max, who loves snuggles and affection, is radioactive after his hyperthyroidism treatment. So I have to look at this face and say no, I will not let you nap on my lap. #cats #catsofmastodon

@madgeface Oh yeah. Even my girls, who get along famously, will swat at each other when the grazing bowl is low. I get that it doesn’t work for everyone, and it's probably not a solution for you.I'd suspect an onset of something bugging her, under the circumstances you described. Does it help her to have someone be with her for for snuggle time? That often calms our AuDHD-ish cat when she's gotten in a bad place.
