Playing with it some more…Fun fact; it just came assembled totally wrong. The ball is not supposed to be free floating. It was just never put inside the gasket and was just knocking around the glass bowl in the packaging. After figuring that out, I pried open the gasket and pushed it back in. The switch is still shit, BUT it was also inserted wrong. In its original position it wasn’t actually lifting the ball as it should and fell out easily. I fully removed it and re-seated it. Now it actually functions as intended. The ball lives inside the neck, and the handle successful raises it. Still not my favorite design, but for a moment I thought it was completely broken. Points for being functional. Minus points for shitty factory QC.
