@Tim_Eagon @Craig I didn't watch much of Campaign 3 due to life being busy, and I was excited for this one, but after seeing the character introductions, I already felt behind and completely lost interest. It made me feel that the campaign was going to be less about heroes doing heroic things and more a long journey forward to discover what happened in their back stories.

@jewishreader while it's still high fantasy, it definitely feels more grounded than previous campaigns.

@edchivers C4 has been pretty good so far!

I finished Episode 1 and overall, I liked it. BLM is a strong streaming GM and the old and new cast gelled well. I know it probably won't happen until at least after the next episode, but they really need to start splitting the players into separate groups who get longer stretches of attention.#CriticalRole

@stefan yeah, that didn't happen, especially with all the characters - at the break, they had just introduced Laura's character, and there were several more to go.

I believe they had a Pathfinder one-shot about 6 months ago with Deborah Ann Woll, Felicia Day, Matt Mercer, Brandon Routh, and others for Extra Life.

@beadsland yeah, I bailed on The Crown Keepers as I couldn’t stand Aabria’s style of DMIng. I never watched Divergence and bailed on Downfall, mostly because it was kind of pointless to watch since I already knew how it had to play out.

@apontious Their recent business decisions tells me they're making a big push for market share. I have my doubts about whether they can actually supplant D&D, but being a major competitor featuring former WotC luminaries and no longer offering unlimited free advertising for 5e is going to hurt...
