Hey folks, I wanna throw in on this #FediHire thing. I'm a freelance musician based in Los Angeles in need of more work. I teach guitar and voice, and I record, mix, and master music for others.I got hit with a one-two punch of long-COVID and autistic burnout In 2021. I was laid off today along with several other people at my now former employer, supposedly for reasons unrelated to my future refusal to use LLM tools. I suppose it's been checks notes eight months, I should probably think about looking for a job! I'm UK-based, looking for remote work, doing interesting software development of some kind (open source would be preferable, but not a deal-breaker). I'm most comfortable in Python (both real computer and embedded via MicroPython), with over a decade of experience in it, but am fairly flexible.
