@pteryx @valthonis I don't have any citations for this but could the 'this game has no updates so it's dead' be because that's how studios have trained consumers to think ? Because once updates stop live service game servers are getting shut down earlier and earlier and this is like the Netflix problem of nothing lasting more than one or two seasons (at most) because subscribers have been trained to expect everything to be cancelled so why bother to get invested in the first place ?
