over the years (years omg) of hosting #monsterdon, I've heard from a lot of people that it's their little safe space. It's two hours a week where they can take a breath, laugh and connect with other people and not think about everything heavy and overwhelming in the worldRest is not ignorance. You can't face real monsters if you're burnt out and hopeless. Sometimes, a little time with fake monsters is exactly what gives people the strength to keep going
