@CactuarJoe I haven't played since the 90s. I had a Blue/Red deck that had no creatures - just land destruction, lightning bolts, various ways to counter spells, a howling mine, and a millstone. Was it effective? Ish. But it was *fantastic* at annoying the piss out of people.I imagine that it would be a 100% illegal build and completely ineffective today, but it was a lot of fum for me back in the day.

Still a good time, tho, Kastral didn't do too well first time out, but Brigid racked up another win. And against a Kotis spell theft deck, too, which was great The look on their face when I reacted to their attack by tutoring for... Seedcradle Witch, of all things, was priceless

Okay I've been messing with landfall decks for a bit and I think I've settled on Zimone, Mystery Unraveller. The whole Manifest Dread thing is interesting Other decks fiddled with included Nissa, Worldsoul Speaker (fun, but basically just a ramp deck with extra steps), Tatyova, Benthic Druid (effective, but a little too straightforward for me), And Titania, Protector of Argoth (too many moving parts).#mtg #magicthegathering
