Edendork Dance Hall, County Tyrone. Built in 1963, it was once a bustling venue on the Irish showband circuit during the 1960s and 1980s. When the showband era came to an end in the mid-1980s, dance halls like this began to close down. Happy #WorldPhotographyDay ! This is one of my favourite images from last autumn in Scotland's Ancient Caledonian Forest. In the dark of morning, I hiked up this pathless steep sided hill to gain a view over the magnificent glen beyond and was treated to an exceptional sunrise.
