#TuesdayGame My character turned into an angsty teen. Moping around. Walking all night long instead of sleeping. In fairness, their god is Celestian, god of travelers and stars, so they were really working to connect with their god.They did stumble on the next job, finding some stuff for another minion of Iuz. Made good use of the Commune spell to get close to an underwater castle we want to steal from. I think we need to ally with good aligned folk instead at some point...#DnD #ttrpg

Upon reflection, I think Nene (my PC) will tear down everything around them to seal Obmi back up and no longer be undead. Obmi's plans can land in whatever personal hell he ends up in with him. Now, how do I make that happen? Note: being actually dead is one way to not be undead, I know.Also, excellent example of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." P wanted Nene back. #TuesdayGame Well, the big bad we released two sessions ago approached us about doing a job with him. Given how much he could smash us, and that we were sort of on that path anyway, we agreed.So we did all this prep-work to get into Geb, the land of the undead, cleanly by posing as merchants with faked papers and a plan about what we could sell. And didn't even make it past border control before having to kill people.Classic. I think we covered our tracks well...#ttrpg #DnD

#TuesdayGame It was so good to be back after a whole freaking month! So, we found (and killed) the guy who was committing the grisly murders in town. But kinda too late. He managed to summon the Hammer of Iuz to town. I'm thinking that's bad news... But you know, we found the murderer. I dunno, I feel like we didn't do a great job on this one.#ttrpg #DND

#TuesdayGame So, we head back to town, only to find out that the port is being plagued by murders. 8 people in two weeks. Well before we showed up in the area, so it's not us!We offer our services to the local merchant's guild, who are loosely running the town. Then we head off to the market to gather rumors. So fun! And P runs into one of the town racists. He then proceeds to kill the man in broad daylight. Oh, P. How ever will we survive you? I saved the guy, but...#DnD #ttrpg

#TuesdayGame: We did it this week! We managed to kill the young black dragon! It was pretty epic with kobolds sniping at the edges of the fight and us being REALLY thankful for the damage reduction from the energy resistance potions. In the end, it was just fire bolt that did him in. I love it when it's a little thing does does just enough to take the Big Bad down.So... no next goal yet, but I'm sure there's something coming for us soon...#DnD #ttrpg

#TuesdayGame: Lotsa breaks in this game. It's a shame we can't get a good streak going.We headed home and then off to the north into the Other Swamp we found out about in town. Fought some cultists. Intimidated some others, then sent them off with a little money to start new lives. Told 'em we'd kill 'em if we saw them in the cult again. #TuesdayGame: Some cultists came a-knockin at the bastion, looking for spell components. We tried to get them to go away, but of course it turned into a fight. Lots of smashing and fun with that. We decided to burn the bodies, but held onto a couple of heads to Speak with Dead to try to get a lead on the next step. We even disguised ourselves so we didn't look like we were the ones who killed them!Then we checked out the nearby town and made some friends. Off to the swamps!#Dnd #ttrpg

#TuesdayGame: Well, it's been a while. We managed to track down the necromancer who's been terrorizing unnamed hamlet #72. Or near them anyway. We had a blast burning, oh, just about everything in sight. The fields. The zombies. The house. Burning the house did no good, by the way. We just destroyed some of the portals to the mini-dimension inside. But it felt good! We're a little more murder hobo than usual in this game. I'm usually the voice of reason. #TuesdayGame: Well, we got him to admit it this week. This is a new character. But he doesn't seem to be a plant from the cultists. We'll see. As to the actual job, we finished the escort job. And then rescued our employer from the low-level criminals who kidnapped him after he sharked them. Idiot. But the fun part was getting to surprise everyone with my cleric having B&E skills... #TuesdayGame: You know, I think the player last week who we were teasing about being a replacement for the original character actually IS a replacement for the original character! We started asking questions about mannerisms, and they weren't the same.We have decided this doesn't mean he's evil, per force. So, we're giving him a chance. That should work out well, right? #TuesdayGame: We have a player who can't remember anything. Ever. His new character started out with a really creepy mask on, but this was a very him thing to do, so we rolled with it. In tonight's game, he lost the mask, and it turns out he's a *gorgeous* human. But of, course, our characters have never seen his face. And the player can't remember anything, so we're all giving him crap in game about not being the same person. It's just hysterical!#DnD #TTRPG

#TuesdayGame: Brought the dead kid's body back to town before heading off for the swamp to find the necromancer. Managed to calm the angry mob ready to go on a witch hunt until they listened to reason. I hope.In the swamp, we ran into the witch. She's definitely hiding something, but probably isn't the baddie. I had a moment of spider induced panic when we were attacked by a swarm zombie hands. I brought the wrath of god down on them with Sacred Flame, turning them to ash! #ttrpg #DnD

#TuesdayGame: We kicked off a new #Dnd 2024 game last night. The GM did a cute thing of having each of us explain how we met another character and then asking a question about something we all did together (first fight, first travel together...). I enjoyed it a lot as a way to Kickstart the group cohesion. We're investigating why a couple of people didn't show up at farmers' market like usual. Turns out they were ghasts! Fun fight, but now we need to know how it happened. #ttrpg
