I remember once my players spent like 15 minutes discussing how to get across a 10 foot long puddle of water in a cave.
Eventually I had to remind them that 10’ isn’t that far, and you can RAW jump your strength score in feet with a running start. They didn’t need to build a bridge or cut into the walls. They could also just go into the water, but I understand not wanting to submerge yourself in cave water when you don’t know what’s down there.

Will do, I’m on page 273, & I saw in the thousands on the archive!?! This is Questionable Content all over again Though I will admit, Order Of The Stick does start with a really good art style & sticks to it, whereas QC started off a little scuffed & evalved/improved over the years IMO (plz no kill, these are the opinions of a silly goose x^P )
Edit: while I’m here, you got any recommendations for more good webcomics? I’m finding I really enjoy the format(s) and am trying to gather a good collection

I don’t read many of them, but in the RPG theme I can recommend Goblins! (https://www.goblinscomic.com/comic/06252005)
And, well, while it’s not quite a webcomic but more a series of mostly unrelated skits, there’s always good old Oglaf… It’s quite hilarious, but uh huge NSFW WARNING just in case you miss it : https://www.oglaf.com/cumsprite/

The new D&D movie is super good, but the first one from 2000 still has one of my favorite quotes.
“I want to get myself a nice Dwarven woman, with a beard you can just hang onto!”

My friends and I once came across what was clearly a pit of spikes (in hindsight), and instead of going over them…proceeded to climb down into the pit of spikes, navigate through them, and climb up the other side. The DM said nothing and just let it happen. Me and the rogue were probably both a little intoxicated (I definitely was). If the barbarian knew, she also didn’t say anything.
