    #TTRPG cliches I never want to hear again:

    "get it to the table" -- Pick it up off the shelf, walk over to the table, set it on the table. Done.

    "the rules get out of the way" -- If you don't want to engage with rules, why aren't you playing freeform pretend instead?

    "swinginess" -- Look at the percentage chance of success, suddenly become less offended by the type of die roll. Just because the percentages are distributed more evenly doesn't make it "wrong".

    How about you?

      @audreygwinter Yes on "the rules get out of the way" when like "the rules were right there for me to use and understand easily" is appropriate
