      Er, I think they mean “Scientists aboard Great Lakes research vessel discover new life” don’t they?

      The goo wasn’t really on board; it was on rudder.

        Well it was also inside the rudder shaft housing, so technically it was on board too.

          And technically the scientists weren’t on board when they discovered it, since the ship was in dry dock and they were in a lab.
