@hildabast @PLOS TIL in US the covid vaccine is still offered/done. In Germany I haven't heard anything more about it, not even my doctor has suggested it.

@madduci @hildabast @PLOS Might be just your doctor: It’s still being offered in Germany, the state is buying the BioNTech vaccines, you only have to pay the doctor or pharmacist for the vaccination effort. It’s officially recommended to everyone 60+, but *anyone* has the right to get it.

It’s not that obvious. Many doctors in Germany refer to the official recommendations and are scared to prescribe it to anyone outside that bracket.
I’m just lucky that mine thinks that anyone should get it…
