Burning trees are stanky.@theteapixie Yep, but this stench is not the same - maybe because it's earlier than the previous summers, so the burning trees smell different.

@bedirthan My coworker said "Again?" when the AQ alerts went out last week, and I replied "There's a lot of Canada to burn."

@pauldrye This smells is more organic. Last year, it always smelled like burning plastic.

About 200,000 ha in Manitoba cabin country, right now, unfortunately. Which is a good portion of one of our provincial parks. -
