How did it take me 37 years to realize "#maple and brown sugar" is a bullshit #oatmeal flavor?
It's basically just "sugar and sugar" as a flavor concept. Consider "peaches and creme" and "apples and cinnamon" (the two other major American "oatmeal flavors") and you might see what I mean.
I'm not complaining about healthy foods, or even objecting to the tasty combinations. I'm just saying that I should have realized one was "sugar and sugar" before now.
