Working on preparing Blind Mice by C. Kay Scott for @standardebooks

Plain old literary fiction isn't usually my thing, but this story about a Southern mom who comes to stay with her daughter and the daughter's husband and is just manipulative to everyone and is being an absolute terror? I'm so caught up in it. Melodramatic in all the best ways.

(Would be better if it didn't have 1909 portrayals of black characters but....)
