@mherbert @peterw The four or five episodes they’ve released so far are playing for me. The Gathering + some season 1.

@futzle @peterw ok, weird, I get a paywall immediately, no matter what I select (I have it ripped from my own DVDs, so I'm not fussed, btw)

@skribe same. I started a rewatch last year via a ripped version of a dvd box set but going to switch to YouTube. The fan in me hopes they’re tracking viewing figures to gauge interest in a remake or something.

@peterw our yearly watch finished in Sept, but I don't have the new version of The Gathering, so it was nice to watch that.

@peterw oh, dude, I used to follow J. Michael Straczynski on Twitter (when it was good) and he was so upset at what happened to his creation. Not only was more possible (don't get me started), but the locking up of his content was nasty as hell.

So glad to see it now available to everyone!

@ewen hah - I used to have that, too. It was impossible to find online so I isolated it from the DVD, and that was the only time I ever worked with audio processing software.

Nowadays my phone is always silent but I miss that softy, cheery door chime sometimes. Maybe it's time I got a customizable doorbell.

@peterw A cool TV series is now free to watch! The Internet is so cool! They totally wouldn't limit it to just some countries, right? The Internet being global and all...

@apzpins you’d hope not but who knows. Can’t see the point but then big corporations can make the dumbest decisions.

@peterw Looks like the Nordics, or at least Finland seems always to be the place that's conveniently blocked from stuff like this. We also didn't get the B5 remake in any streaming service ever. After waiting for years patiently, I had to put on my pirate hat to get it.
