Tomorrow I will have time to run some much-needed errands. I can take the recycling and also some old electronics (like things with lithium batteries). I think I may take some things to donate as well. I'm looking forward to getting things out of my house.

I'm possibly going to get to have lunch with a friend that I haven't seen for a while, which would be nice.

I also have to take the kiddo to the dentist, go to a parent/teacher conference, and then I have an appointment of my own.

I'm also planning to take some time for myself - maybe do some reading, knit on my scarf, or maybe I'll practice my saxophone. And I'm definitely reinserting the drawstring in my son's pants, because I replaced my lost bodkin so now I have the right tool to get that done.

Or I'll just fix those pants now! The new bodkin works great.

I'm really glad I got the drawstring back in there before we managed to lose it.

Now those pants can go back in the rotation. He's at the age where he grows out of things quickly so it's good to get these pants (which still fit) back into service.

@AngelaPreston You mean there is an actual tool for this? All these years of struggling with a letter opener or something similar and there is a tool??

@Linnefaulk Yes! I have two types. One looks kind of like tweezers. You pinch the thing you need to pull through, lock it in place, then work the bodkin through the casing/ waistband. Then there is the long skinny one with a small eye at the back end and a ball on the front. The ball point makes it easier to slide through the casing. The eye is a little too small in my opinion, but it does work.
